Hi! My name is Mareike, I’m 23 years old and will be starting my Master’s at the University of Amsterdam this fall. During my Bachelor’s at Leiden University, I lived in a shared house with six roommates and really enjoyed the experience — I value a warm, respectful home atmosphere and know what it means to live together considerately.
I’m clean, organized, and always respectful of personal boundaries, but I also enjoy socializing over a cup of coffee or a glass of wine. I love a good chat in the kitchen or spontaneous dinners, while also appreciating everyone having their own space.
Outside of university, I enjoy going to the gym, exploring cultural events like exhibitions and concerts, and discovering new corners of the city. I’ve lived in the Netherlands before and am really happy to be back after spending a year in Berlin. It feels great to return to a place that already feels like home.
